Job Summary
An aerospace and defense technology company is seeking a Remote Principal Supply Chain Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Execute compliant major procurement activities and providing leadership, and work independently, manage workload assignments to ensure requirements are appropriately prioritized
- Interface and correspond with suppliers, develop sourcing selection/evaluation strategies/partnerships, procurement agreements; supplier identification; coordinate export control/security requirements
- Lead the evaluation of customer RFPs and ability to collaborate with the program team to develop subcontract RFPs
Qualifications for this position include:
- 6+ Years in procurement, contracts, subcontracts and/or business management with Bachelors
- 4+ Years with Masters in procurement, contracts, subcontracts and/or business management
- Possess strong communication and writing skills
- US citizen with eligibility to obtain a secret clearance
- Proven understanding of the proposal process, pricing instructions, terms and conditions and determine the adequacy of subcontractor proposals received
- Ability to analyze and evaluate subcontractor proposals, negotiate deviations from work statements, schedule, and/or terms and conditions, while working closely with the Program Management team
