Job Summary
A university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Prior Authorization and Predetermination Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Obtain pre-certification and authorization from commercial insurances, agency and BCMH for procedures/treatment
- Assist with pre-determinations to inform patients of upcoming out-of-pocket expense
Qualifications for this position include:
- Two years medical prior authorization experience
- Knowledge of the direct impact on practice’s revenue cycle
- Proficient use of CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Proficiency with computers and related software in medical or dental billing
