Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Receives and interprets prior authorization requests, making coverage determinations based on clinical guidelines
• Coordinates communication of case decisions to physicians, health plans, and patients
• Maintains communication among health plan and employer group staff

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacist license from any state in the US, matching the candidate's location
• Experience in a PBM or managed care environment is required
• Prior authorization experience is highly preferred
• Experience in retail or dispensing pharmacy settings will not be accepted
