Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking in-coming calls and providing professional phone assistance through the prior authorization process
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of reviews and transferring clinical questions to the pharmacist team
  • Assisting with various duties such as outbound calls, reviewing prior authorizations, and responding to inquiries

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Manager and prior authorization preferred
  • Call center experience or high volume calls required
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license with no restrictions in the state of residence
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
