Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Prior Authorization Technician I.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Review medication utilization records
Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes in the pharmacy industry
Maintain and update internal databases

Qualifications Include:

Attends required training on an annual basis
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Active/current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (i.e., ExCPT, NCCT, PTCB)
Strong knowledge in specialty pharmaceuticals
Demonstrates knowledge of Federal & State laws/regulations regarding provisions of pharmaceutical services
Customer service and interpersonal skills
