Remote Privacy and Compliance Counsel Member

Job Summary

A global intelligence company has a current position open for a Remote Privacy and Compliance Counsel Member.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Serving as the company’s in-house data privacy and corporate compliance expert
• Advising Legal team personnel and stakeholders across the company
• Serving as the key privacy advisor on large and small business transactions

Skills and Requirements Include:

• J.D. with excellent academic credentials and a state bar member in good standing
• 7 to ten 10 of corporate legal practice experience providing substantive privacy and corporate compliance advice
• CIPP/US certification
• Specific, demonstrable experience managing ethical wall and other conflict of interest policies
• Experience assessing and implementing enterprise information security and governance frameworks
• Extremely practical and business-oriented approach to legal issues and problem solving
