Remote Privacy and Information Management Attorney

Job Summary

A financial services firm has an open position for a Remote Privacy and Information Management Attorney.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Assisting the Chief Privacy Officer with operationalizing the Privacy
• Assisting in the development and management of enterprise-wide procedures
• Assisting in formal and informal privacy risk assessments

Required Skills:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• License to practice law in Missouri, or a reciprocal state
• 8 years progressive experience in an in-house or law firm environment with a focus on privacy
• Ability to identify and evaluate information and privacy and information governance risks
• Ability to understand and resolve privacy, information security, and information governance issues
• Knowledge of, and experience with, federal (US and Canada) and state/provincial privacy
