Job Summary
A travel marketing platform is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Privacy Counsel.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing expert, calibrated, helpful privacy-related legal advice to the Sojern team across US and global offices
- Designing and developing privacy programs and policies for compliance and training
- Staying current on policy issues and legal developments relating to privacy
Skills and Requirements Include:
- J.D. degree, or international law degree + LLM and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- 2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
- Member of the California bar in good standing (RIHC status OK)
- Significant experience with US and EU privacy regulations and requirements
- Clear, crisp communication skills, exceptional judgment, and a practical, business-minded approach
