Job Summary

An education company is seeking a Remote Privacy Counsel.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing legal research, analysis and counsel for privacy related matters
  • Advising business teams on the privacy and security aspects of new product development
  • Reviewing and updating existing privacy programs

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of law firm or in-house experience
  • Possess a knowledge of US and international privacy laws and regulations
  • Experience with privacy impact assessments, data governance and retention and deletion practices
  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills
  • J.D. and admission to at least one US State bar
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
