Job Summary

A biology technology is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Privacy Counsel Associate Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Counseling and collaborating with multiple internal clients
• Drafting, negotiating, and interpreting privacy, security and data usage
• Reviewing issues related to Incident Response, customer security questionnaires and security certifications

Qualifications Include:

• Law degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Exceptional academic credentials and a member of a state bar in good standing required.
• Hold at least one Data Protection and/or Privacy certification
• 12+ years or relevant legal experience
• 5+ years’ experience within a compliance, legal, audit and/or risk function
• Experience with US and EU data privacy laws
