Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote PRN Dosimetrist in Fort Myers.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing treatment plans that will deliver the radiation dose
- Assisting with patient treatment and set up and immobilization of patients
- Assisting the therapy staff in the implementation of the treatment plan and problem-solving
Qualifications for this position include:
- Attends mandatory company training sessions as required
- Associate of Science or Bachelor’s Degree in the physical or biological sciences and ARRT/RT(T) certification
- Two years of experience in medical dosimetry under the supervision of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Medical Physicist
- Basic understanding of the technical aspects of radiation oncology, medical physics and tolerance doses
- Working knowledge of radiation safety and correct use of immobilization devices, compensators, wedges, etc
- Experience with Velocity and Eclipse and Atlas based auto segmentation
