Job Summary
A biotech research company is seeking a Remote PRN Medical Abstractor II.
Must be able to:
- Curate and abstract all required diagnostic, staging, treatment, and outcomes information
- Maintain a high accuracy abstraction rate
- Participate in follow-up review and updates to clinical data
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Associate degree in biology, public health, nursing, or another related field (or applicable work experience)
- Minimum of two years of experience working with a computerized cancer registry database
- Minimum of two years of experience analyzing, coding and abstracting medical records
- Minimum of two years of working knowledge of medical technology
- Experience utilizing database technology and electronic medical record systems
- Minimum of two years of working with Microsoft Office and other PC database applications
