Remote PRN Medical Abstractor II

Job Summary

A biotech research company is seeking a Remote PRN Medical Abstractor II.

Must be able to:

• Curate and abstract all required diagnostic, staging, treatment, and outcomes information
• Maintain a high accuracy abstraction rate
• Participate in follow-up review and updates to clinical data

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Associate degree in biology, public health, nursing, or another related field (or applicable work experience)
• Minimum of two years of experience working with a computerized cancer registry database
• Minimum of two years of experience analyzing, coding and abstracting medical records
• Minimum of two years of working knowledge of medical technology
• Experience utilizing database technology and electronic medical record systems
• Minimum of two years of working with Microsoft Office and other PC database applications
