Job Summary

A healthcare services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote PRN Patient Account Representative in Frisco.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Accurately and thoroughly documenting the pertinent collection activity performed
• Identifying issues or trending and provide suggestions for resolution
• Being responsible for all aspects of billing, follow up and collection activity

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Participate and attend meetings, training seminars and in-services to develop job knowledge
• 0-4 years of experience in Medical/Hospital Insurance related collections
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Intermediate technical skills including PC and MS Outlook
• Intermediate knowledge of UB-04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) interpretation
• Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
