A healthcare revenue cycle management company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Pro Fee Specialty Certified Professional Coder.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing and analyzing patient records according to current compliance policies
- Assigning accurately and sequencing appropriately ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Contacting clients as appropriate when documentation in the medical record is inadequate
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have Pro Fee coding experience
- Understanding of all or a combination of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers
- Understanding of all medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Nationally recognized coding credential
