Job Summary

A life insurance company is seeking a Remote Procurement and Vendor Management Director.

Must be able to:

  • Create collaborative business plans with strategic vendors, develop negotiating strategies
  • Direct and approve the planning process with Category Managers and Category Specialists
  • Plan, develop, direct, and implement complex business strategies through tshort/long-range objectives

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
  • Ten years of procurement experience developing targets, leading change management
  • Seven years of management experience
  • Experience managing category spend in excess of $250M across multiple acquisition categories
  • Experience developing and implementing requirements/change management methodologies
  • Experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expenses and capital budgets
