Job Summary
A life insurance company is seeking a Remote Procurement and Vendor Management Director.
Must be able to:
- Create collaborative business plans with strategic vendors, develop negotiating strategies
- Direct and approve the planning process with Category Managers and Category Specialists
- Plan, develop, direct, and implement complex business strategies through tshort/long-range objectives
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
- Ten years of procurement experience developing targets, leading change management
- Seven years of management experience
- Experience managing category spend in excess of $250M across multiple acquisition categories
- Experience developing and implementing requirements/change management methodologies
- Experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expenses and capital budgets
