Job Summary
A software provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Procurement Category Lead Senior Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Create category-aligned tools, templates, and deliverables
- Assist Client Category Managers to engage business stakeholders
- Support category plan development and improvement
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Minimum of 8 years of related work experience within procurement, category management, sourcing, procurement consulting, etc
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience is required
- Expertise in an Indirect procurement category is required
- Ability to work with web-based tools
- Strong negotiation and strategic sourcing skills
- Ability to assess appropriate procurement strategies for given categories and procurement business requirements
