Job Summary
A cosmetics company has a current position open for a Remote Procurement Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Streamlining production schedules with contract manufacturers to maximize capacity and coordinate component deliveries
- Managing production plans and coordinate materials across multiple manufacturing sites
- Creating and issuing all purchase and work orders, ensuring raw materials and finished goods are managed efficiently
Qualifications for this position include:
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain or equivalent education and experience
- 5+ years’ progressive experience within procurement, production planning and/or supply chain
- Experience implementing or leveraging a MRP tool and NetSuite experience is desired
- A good understanding of Supply Chain Metrics
- Experience managing and directing external partners with day-to-day priorities and assisting to resolve problems
- Experience leading cross-functional teams efficiently and effectively to resolve issues and proactively communicate needs
