Job Summary
A computer software company is filling a position for a Remote Procurement Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Using industry relevant benchmarking, create/ set-up and execute strategic sourcing and supplier management processes
- Managing cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet goals
- Working with a range of functional teams such as Technology, Marketing, Product Management and Legal to negotiate agreements, term sheets, engagement letters and SOWs
Qualifications for this position include:
- BS degree in business, technology, or related fields, MBA degree a plus
- Over 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or supplier management
- Strong business partnering experience with functional executives
- Extensive experience with supplier negotiation, vendor/ contract process set-up
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, without a set of guidelines and task list
