Job Summary

A software company has a current position open for a Remote Procurement Manager in New York City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Create an objective model to reduce risk from complex subscription and license contracts
• Analyze industry trends, identify opportunities, and engage suppliers proactively to reduce cost of licenses
• Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet goals

Qualifications Include:

• BS degree in business, technology, or related fields
• Over 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or supplier management
• Extensive experience with supplier negotiation, vendor/ contract process set-up
• Strong business partnering experience with functional executives
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently, without a set of guidelines and task list
