Remote Product Counsel

Job Summary

A financial software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Product Counsel.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Developing, and deploying knowledge and best practices for working with processors and financial partners
• Working as part of the Legal team and cross-functionally on a variety of product matters
• Assisting with state and federal examinations and independent audits

Required Skills:

• JD degree and 5+ years of relevant legal experience
• Assist with preparing and maintaining terms of service associated with e-commerce products
• Experience in a start-up environment preferred
• Assist with developing and providing training to business units on policies, procedures and developments
• Experience with card payment association rules/operating regulations and NACHA rules a strong plus
