Remote Product Design Director

Job Summary

A health and beauty company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Product Design Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Managing, developing and scaling a top-class team of Managers, User Experience Researchers, and Product Designers
• Leading the adoption and scaling of our product design system in close partnership with Engineering
• Being a key partner with senior technology leadership in organizational strategy and process

Qualifications Include:

• Experience launching habit-forming products that customers love and/or products that excel at helping users achieve their health and wellness goals
• 5+ years of experience leading and scaling design teams and leaders at fast-growing companies
• Ability to drive clarity around highly ambiguous or emergent problems, and ability to influence and build consensus for important design-led initiatives
• In-depth understanding of human-centered design principles and methods with a genuine curiosity that inspires discovery and innovation across the team
• Proven outstanding portfolio, showcasing strong foundation in ideation, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, designing for accessibility, and producing high-impact business results
• Ability to proactively steward culture by creating a safe, diverse and creative environment that will attract and retain the best talent.
