Job Summary
A software developer has a current position open for a Remote Product Documentation Technical Writer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Writing and editing content for all new and enhanced features
- Identifying & addressing content gaps or need for additional media (images, video) & working with product team to drive improvements
- Collaborating with PM and Design on product usability and text in the UI to ensure customer success
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably within a scaling startup
- Experience writing, editing, researching, and planning software documentation
- Experience working in collaboration with product managers, software engineers & designers on a daily basis
- Proficiency with media creation tools, e.g., Google Draw, Snagit, Camtasia, Visio
- Ability to acquire and synthesize information from multiple stakeholders/partners
