Job Summary
A home and building products manufacturing company is in need of a Remote Product Engineer 2 in Salt Lake City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Preparing CAD drawings of new designs or modifications to an existing product
- Conducting mechanical reviews of existing competitor products
- Exploring potential development of alternate internal mechanisms
Qualifications for this position include:
- Solid understanding of Root Cause Analysis
- Solid knowledge of small part design including mechanisms and gears
- Solid knowledge and use of die casting, metal stamping, and roll forming
- Solid knowledge of the use of injection molding with plastics
- Experience with plastic part design and mechanisms
- BSME and 5+ years of related experience
