Job Summary

A home and building products manufacturing company is in need of a Remote Product Engineer 2 in Salt Lake City.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing CAD drawings of new designs or modifications to an existing product
• Conducting mechanical reviews of existing competitor products
• Exploring potential development of alternate internal mechanisms

Qualifications for this position include:

• Solid understanding of Root Cause Analysis
• Solid knowledge of small part design including mechanisms and gears
• Solid knowledge and use of die casting, metal stamping, and roll forming
• Solid knowledge of the use of injection molding with plastics
• Experience with plastic part design and mechanisms
• BSME and 5+ years of related experience
