Job Summary
A social media company is in need of a Remote Product Marketing Manager.
Must be able to:
- Shape and execute marketing initiatives that help deliver relevance and value to groups with a pulse on emerging trends, including younger audiences
- Assist in the development of core product positioning and messaging for products (mobile apps, web) and features (posts, video and sharing), considering value proposition, audience needs, market landscape, and other factors
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights from research and analysis to inform go-to-market plans
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of consumer marketing experience, including managing creative and/or media agencies
- 3+ years experience working in digital media or technology
- Analytical and problem-solving experience
- Experience communicating to internal teams, as well as for consumer-facing audiences
- Ability to manage product launch go-to-market risk evaluation and mitigation process across policy, privacy, legal, product and PR
- Ability to support and execute go-to-market plans, collaborating closely with product, partnerships, PR, and other cross-functional teams to drive product awareness and adoption
