Remote Product Owner
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Product Owner will manage backlog prioritization and execution of development projects, translating business objectives into actionable software solutions while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain the backlog in Azure DevOps, developing a foundational understanding of all active work items
- Translate stakeholder needs into concise work items for the development team and participate in refinement discussions
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and organize the backlog, ensuring timely completion of valuable work items
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting software development
- Demonstrated experience managing and prioritizing a software product backlog using Azure DevOps or a comparable tool
- Experience working directly with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable software requirements
- Experience managing competing priorities and escalations with stakeholders across different organizational levels
- Product Owner, Scrum, or Agile certification is a plus
