Remote Product Privacy and Regulatory Counsel

Job Summary

A financial services company is seeking a Remote Product Privacy and Regulatory Counsel.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Getting to know the organizational structure, key agreements, and legal processes
• Diving into our privacy program
• Understanding current product offerings and market positioning as well as how those products

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Experience working with product, data, and engineering teams in order to guide product development and assess risk
• Understanding and familiarity with applicable regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Working knowledge of US privacy laws and requirements and hands-on experience implementing privacy programs at growing companies
• Exposure to foreign privacy regimes and the ability to get up to speed quickly
• Experience with international product expansion and adaptation
