Job Summary
An enterprise payroll and accounting software firm has a current position open for a Remote Production Infrastructure and Cloud Operations Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Attracting, motivating and developing best-in-class talent
- Partnering with software architecture and development to create and drive cloud technology strategy
- Actively supporting and where appropriate driving the modernization and /or obsolescence of legacy systems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive management in information strategy, architecture, technology, and systems
- Experience managing multi-disciplined, production / cloud hosting operations to scale
- Significant project management and agile experience; commitment oriented
- Significant experience supporting legacy systems and modernization initiatives across multiple cloud and data center providers
- Deep knowledge with Linux Servers, Windows Servers, Databases, and Networking, storage and networking infrastructure
- Deep experience with AWS and cloud architectures/services
