Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Profee Cardio thoracic and OBGYN Surgical Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Abstracting clinical information from a variety of medical records and assigning appropriate ICD 10 CM and/or CPT codes
  • Analyzing, entering and manipulating database and confirming appropriate DRG assignments
  • Providing Profee/Physician coding

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Required Specialty areas are: Cardio-thoracic surgery, OBGYN, oral/maxillofacial surgery, vascular surgery, and urology
  • 3+ years work experience
  • 3 or more years of surgical coding experience
  • CPC or CCS certification
  • Abstraction coding experience required
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
