Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote ProFee Medical Coder.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal reimbursement of all cases
- Assign ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes
- Abstract pertinent information from patient records
Position Requirements Include:
- 2 years relevant coding experience or
- At least one of the following certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H (COC)
- Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals
- Strong communication skills
