An online university for adult learners needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Professional Core and Clinical Experiences Teachers College Program Chair Member.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc meetings
- Create, measure, and communicate program and course outcomes
- Set requirements for faculty quality and sufficiency
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Doctoral degree or master’s with significant professional experience
- Proven track record of successful faculty development and program leadership
- Demonstrated success in a leadership role and experience in managing change
- In-depth, current content knowledge in Education and educator preparation
- Knowledge of state and national standards, that guide teacher practice
- Knowledge of and ability to use data and program quality metrics
