Job Summary

A nonprofit medical association is in need of a Remote Professional Educational Studies Dissertation Committee Member.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing candidate dissertation drafts and provide substantive feedback and guidance
• Serving on doctoral candidates' dissertation committees as a member or a chair
• Supporting candidates in completing necessary doctoral processes such as submissions for internal reviews and IRB approvals

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Earned terminal degree in a field associated with the doctoral programs
• Evidence of professional research and/or scholarly endeavors and expertise in the field
• Skill in using Microsoft Office Suite applications proficiently
• Capable of interpreting and writing an analysis of sophisticated educational research documents
• Ability to use or learn how to use appropriate technology
• Understands and practices appropriate relationships with students, colleagues, staff, and administrators
