Job Summary
A non-profit, faith-based healthcare system needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Professional Fee Coder I.
Must be able to:
- Code both inpatient and outpatient professional fee services
- Review documentation to assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 diagnosis codes
- Resolve edits in WQs
Position Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPC or CCS-P
- Basic coding knowledge for professional services
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and 10, CPT-4, HCPCS and 1500 billing
- Anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology
- Demonstrated advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office
