Job Summary
A business processing solutions company has an open position for a Remote Professional Fee Coder II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying trends and reports to Coding Manager
- Identifying potential issues or errors
- Identifying daily work queue
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school education 5 years of experience with coding and/or billing in healthcare revenue cycle
- Includes hospital and physician practice
- Additional equivalent education above the required minimum may substitute for the required level of experience
- Complete a pre-employment medical coding assessment that is provided, developed, and administered by candidate management instructions
- Experience in coding for Family Medicine, OBGYN and/or Pediatrics for Academic Teaching Hospital
- Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment required
