Remote Professional Fee Coder III

Job Summary

A healthcare system is seeking a Remote Professional Fee Coder III.

Must be able to:

• Compare and reconcile daily patient schedules/census/registration to billing
• Review, communicate and process physician attestation forms
• Assist with Evaluation and Management (E&M) audits and other reimbursement reviews

Qualifications Include:

• Must have specific training related to CPT procedural coding and ICD9 CM diagnostic coding
• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required
• Working knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, disease processes
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
• Required certification (CPC) (CCS-P) (RHIT) (CCA) (AHIMA) or (COC) by American Academy of Professional Coders
• Minimum of 3 years of coding to include 1 year of complex coding experience
