Job Summary
A Big Data consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Professional Services Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing the estimation and creation of Statements of Work for your assigned customers
- Recruiting, developing and managing up to 10 consultants in order to create the highest quality consulting organization in the industry
- Participating in, and occasionally leading planning and management meetings, projects or events as requested
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%
- Must be a natural-born project manager, with the discipline, methodology background, and cadence to ensure that multiple projects are moving forward
- Must be a customer-centric, intellectually curious, bright, energetic person
- Must be a true lover of data
- Must be a consultant and mentor with deep experience in BI, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, MDM, Application Integration, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Google, or Azure) or Big Data
- Must be a seasoned consultant with at least 7 years of Professional Services experience; 4 of those as a manager of projects and people
