Job Summary
A telecommunications services provider has an open position for a Remote Professional Services Strategic Sourcing Category Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Lead change and challenges the status quo to drive process effectiveness
- Manage all sourcing/procurement activities for the assigned categories as appropriate
- Assist in the development and implementation of global procurement plans, policies and procedures
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of relevant business or purchasing experience including strategic sourcing and vendor management
- Proven experience and success in leading major cost savings initiatives and cross functional teams
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to analyze factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations
- Ability to influence and interact with all levels of the organization
- Sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills
