Job Summary

A telecommunications services provider has an open position for a Remote Professional Services Strategic Sourcing Category Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Lead change and challenges the status quo to drive process effectiveness
  • Manage all sourcing/procurement activities for the assigned categories as appropriate
  • Assist in the development and implementation of global procurement plans, policies and procedures

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of relevant business or purchasing experience including strategic sourcing and vendor management
  • Proven experience and success in leading major cost savings initiatives and cross functional teams
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to analyze factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations
  • Ability to influence and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills
