Remote Proofreader

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Proofreader responsible for quality control of product designs in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Proofreads all orders for accuracy in size, layout, text, graphics, and spelling based on customer specifications
• Ensures compliance with technical requirements and standards, and communicates necessary corrections
• Tracks proofreading progress and assists in developing proofreading standards

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Graphic Arts, Art, English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of proofreading experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign; Mac experience preferred
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications
• Willingness to travel occasionally, both locally and nationally
