Remote Proposal Grant Writer

Job Summary

A nonprofit organization is in need of a Remote Proposal Grant Writer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Write the proposal narrative
• Be responsible for delivering high quality, tailored content for proposals or related documents
• Work closely with IWPR programme and development staff during the project development phase,

Position Requirements Include:

• Previous success in submitting grant proposals to one or more government funders
• Minimum of five years of experience working in international development together
• Experience with private foundations and trusts/corporations is an advantage
• The ability to write clearly and concisely and to balance technical rigour with simple explanations
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
