Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is in need of a Remote Proposal Grant Writer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Write the proposal narrative
- Be responsible for delivering high quality, tailored content for proposals or related documents
- Work closely with IWPR programme and development staff during the project development phase,
Position Requirements Include:
- Previous success in submitting grant proposals to one or more government funders
- Minimum of five years of experience working in international development together
- Experience with private foundations and trusts/corporations is an advantage
- The ability to write clearly and concisely and to balance technical rigour with simple explanations
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
