Job Summary

A non-profit organization has an open position for a Remote Proposal Writer and Market Analyst.

Must be able to:

  • Develop winning written proposals for the acquisition of new business
  • Research and evaluate state and utility energy efficiency (EE) programs, opportunities, and legislative requirements
  • Support the strategic positioning and enhancement of company’s presence in the marketplace.

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to accommodate occasional regional and overnight travel; occasional attendance at industry conferences
  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience
  • Experienced writer and editor with 2 or more years of experience developing compelling written proposals
  • Ability to research, solicit, organize, and coordinate a wide variety of information
  • Ability to assist in cultivating new opportunities and avenues for proposal lead development
  • Ability to coordinate industry association memberships, conference attendance, and sponsorships
