A healthcare services and support organization is in need of a Remote Prospective Chart Review and Clinical Suspecting Clinical Validation Coder.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Completing retrospective medical record reviews
  • Ensuring diagnoses meets clinical documentation and coding guidelines
  • Communicating with physician about documentation opportunities

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in advanced professional coding; HCC coding experience
  • Advanced level of clinical knowledge associated with chronic disease states
  • Experience in retrospective, prospective and clinical suspecting coding methodologies
  • Technology savvy (MS Office, Excel, Outlook, etc)
