Job Summary

An engineering and consulting firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Protection and Controls Senior Electrical Engineer.

Must be able to:

• Provide high quality transmission, distribution, and substation designs and calculations
• Develop Protection & Control Philosophies/packages for complex projects applying industry best practices
• Provide protective & controls relaying schemes

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineering license or EIT
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the development of relay settings
• Experience in Power System modeling software
• Experience in creating native relay settings files is required
• Knowledge of symmetrical components, arc flash analysis and grounding analysis is required
