A healthcare services company has a current position open for a Remote Provider Based Coding Analyst II in Allentown.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing ICD-10-CM and HCPCS/CPT-4 coding for complex visits
- Working with provider based billing processes and workflows
- Utilizing understanding of medical terminology
Qualifications for this position include:
- Associate's Degree in healthcare related field or provider based coding curriculum
- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field
- 3 years of experience in coding experience in a multi-specialty environment
- CPC - Certified Professional Coder, CCS-P, or RHIT Upon Hire
- Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge and understanding of provider based billing processes and workflows
