Job Summary

A staffing agency is filling a position for a Remote Provider Case Appeal Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Performing prepayment claims review analysis
• Reviewing medical records to confirm appropriate medical coding
• Documenting clinical determinations in prepayment review system

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• CPC certification and Associate Degree or higher or 3 years medical coding experience
• An unrestricted RN or LVN or LPN license OR a current certified coder
• 1+ year of experience analyzing data and identifying cost saving opportunities
• 3+ years of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-9/ICD-10 coding experience
