Remote PRT Actuary
Job Summary
To assist in the pricing of Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) opportunities, the full-time Remote PRT Actuary will code and execute pricing models, perform complex participant benefit calculations, and support the growth of PRT products.
Key responsibilities
- Code and execute proprietary PRT pricing models for initial premium valuations and recalculations
- Perform complicated participant benefit calculations and draft/review PRT contract language
- Support special projects to enhance the PRT product offerings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
- Four-plus years of experience in an actuarial setting with progressive responsibilities
- ASA/ACAS Level or equivalent certification
- Pension experience strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
