Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients' mental and physical health based on symptoms and complaints
- Conduct individual psychotherapy and prescribe psychotropic medications while monitoring patients' treatment responses
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, particularly adults
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
