Job Summary
A provider of teletherapy services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Newport News.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Prescribe medication in an effort to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
- Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in a ongoing telemedicine capacity
- Review and approve individualized service plans and assessments
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Masters in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required
- Understanding of MediPro EMR a plus
- Three years experience a plus
