Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Psychiatrist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting initial and follow up care via telepsychiatry standards
- Working as an independently contracted provider for a minimum of 1 visit per week
- Participating in all MeMD provider training or virtual meetings
Position Requirements Include:
- Ongoing commitment to continued education and attendance at professional workshops, trainings and conferences
- MD or DO degree with full unrestricted state medical license
- Board Certification from American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- 2 years of experience as an independently licensed professional
- Must have experience treating diverse populations through individual, family or couples therapy
- Must have an understanding of the Ryan Haight Act and any state regulations/laws pertaining to the prescription of DEA controlled medications
