Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Remote Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to provide clinical supervision and support to psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners through telehealth, focusing on patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with PMHNPs to treat low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients
- Conduct chart reviews and provide guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management
- Authorize prescriptions and mentor clinicians on clinical standards and responsible prescribing protocols
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted physician license (MD or DO) in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Active DEA registration or valid prescribing authority
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry
- Experience supervising nurse practitioners and exercising independent clinical judgment
- Commitment to a minimum one-year tenure with the team
