Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Psychiatry Behavioral Health Medical Coding Specialist I or II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Utilizing available encoder, grouper software, and other coding resources to determine the appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and/or HCPCS
• Evaluating and managing (E&M) codes

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum - High School diploma or equivalent and a graduate of or currently enrolled in a Medical Coding Program
• Maintain an understanding and apply knowledge of National Correct Coding Initiatives
• CPC, RHIA, RHIT, COC, CIC, CCS, CCS-P, or CCA within one year of hire
