Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Psychiatry Coding Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing high quality Psychiatry E/M and surgery coding
- Analyzing medical information from medical records
- Accurately coding diagnostic and procedural information
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Current CPC, CCS, or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA
- Must have at least 3 years of active E/M and Psychiatric coding experience
- Must have at least 3 years of active E/M and surgery coding experience in at least 3 other specialties
- Coder will be coding E/M visits with in-office procedures and the ICD-10 codes
- Coder will be coding surgeries and the ICD-10 codes
- Must be able to maintain a 95% accuracy rate
